Ride of the Pink Unicorn

Deep in the hills of El Salvador, three weary riders meet to rest before the battle begins. The day is hot and the shade of the palms welcomed by the spaniardos.

The gun battle is fierce and the enemy strong. By noon the riders are gone and the dust has settled around the chicken pen once more. If you travel deep in these hills, still you may hear the story, the story they call ‘the ride of the pink unicorn’.

Cooling the Blue House and Tito's Hacieda

The long awaited Spaniard reunion finally arrived to cool the big blue house, with Juan five Juan back from the crusades, and Tito hardened by years lost at sea. A massive thanks goes out to the hardcore Spaniard fans who pretended not to notice that the 'Finale' and 'China' were the only two songs any of the band could remember...

Next day the hombres retreated to the hills; Tito's Hacienda, where the Spaniard was able to regroup and take the time to sit, sweat, take pot shots at circling vultures and record the new single 'THE IRON COBRA' using just the voice memo function of Cortez's phone. The result is posted on the music page. The film clip featuring Juan Five Juan running across the desert dodging random explosions is due for release soon. The day was fruitful, the night still and Cortez slept like a baby in Tinkito's keyboard case...

Travel well Spaniards, until we meet again...

Some recording time at the con coutesy of Cass-mostly spent trying to get the equipment working and taking photos in Juan's giant mirror- hopefully will end up with some decent tracks...but next time, someone bring a hardrive...

Thanks party people for a great night! An amazing venue thanks to Geoff for all of the effort.
Great support from Corduroy Pillow and Annabelle Kay. Thanks to all the shakers on the dance floor! Tacos, campfire and blood on the guitar. A night to be remembered.
